Departments

For mentors

VCU’s Department of Educational Leadership is very appreciative of your willingness to assist our master’s and post-master’s candidates in their culminating experiences.

These internship experiences are very important — every activity will prepare our interns to become better administrators and our candidates will have the invaluable opportunity to learn from your expertise.

To assist you in your mentorship, we have posted informational items to this website. We’ve included several relevant documents, and we suggest you review these in advance of your first meeting with your intern. We have also prepared sets of videos and PowerPoint presentations to help you understand the internship requirements, as well as to illustrate how you and the intern can work together to make this an exciting and mutually-beneficial experience.

Again, thank you for your time and effort in preparing our leadership candidates to become better administrators.
