Dr. Genevieve Siegel-Hawley, an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, featured prominently in a recent NPR article, “The Evidence That White Children Benefit From Integrated Schools.”

The article, posted within the NPRed section of the independent media organization’s website, picks up on the recent redistricting controversy in New York, where officials are considering redrawing the zones in a way that would send kids from a predominantly white school to a one whose population is over 90 percent black and Hispanic.
