Fall 2020 scholarship application
The following application is for students enrolled in a degree-seeking program for the upcoming fall semester.
Most scholarships typically require:
- A completed electronic application, found below
- Transcripts (official, sealed transcripts required from all previous colleges/universities. Unofficial VCU transcripts are accepted for current VCU students). Transcripts from other institutions should be delivered or mailed to the Dean's Office Suite (Oliver Hall Room 2090, 1015 W. Main St. Richmond, VA 23284-2020) and labeled "Attn: Scholarship Committee"
As part of the electronic application, students will be asked to provide an essay with a maximum of 1,500 words.
The essay should address what you hope to accomplish as an educator, including the attributes and aspirations you bring to your chosen field.
Please note: Requirements, including application procedures and essay requirements may vary by scholarship so please carefully review the criteria for each scholarship before applying.
Applications for SCHEV tuition scholarships, graduate assistantships or graduate fellowships should be sent or taken to the Office of Graduate Studies, Oliver Hall Room 2087.
