April Marie “Sweet” Hart Scholarship

The April Marie “Sweet” Hart Scholarship was established by family and friends in memory of Ms. April Marie Hart. April was an accomplished VCU student who planned to be a first-grade teacher. She loved children and cheerleading, and especially loved teaching gymnastics to her students at the East Richmond Gymnastics Center in Richmond. April passed away June 25, 2003 at the age of 20.
