What is the time commitment?

Selected students will participate in a short workshop on mentorship goal setting followed by an introductory mixer with alumni in October. Following this, duos/trios will arrange to meet 2 times during the semester in person or remotely. The session will wrap up in March with a reception/celebration!

Can online students participate?

Will there be food?

I’m student teaching next semester, can I still participate?

Elementary track MT students who are student teaching are encouraged to participate if they feel it will not be an over-commitment of time. Secondary track student teachers are discouraged from participated due time-constraints. All MT Students who are not going into a student teaching semester are encouraged to apply!

Duos and Trios were mentioned, what does that mean?

Adult Learning and Reading student participants will be paired off into duos with one alumni mentor. Master of Teaching students as well as Undergrads who are considering a Master of Teaching degree will be arranged into trios of a younger student, a 5th year student, and an alumnus.
