VCU School of Education Spring 2021 “Drive-Up” Mini-Graduation Celebration

Dear Graduate,

As we progress toward the end of a challenging global pandemic, it’s still heartwarming to see how our faculty, staff and students have responded to this challenge by pulling together and renewing our commitment to each other and to those we serve. As graduates of the spring class of 2021, you have prepared yourselves to meet the challenges of today's world. You have the tenacity, the creativity, and commitment to be successful. We're most proud of what you will accomplish and the impact that you will have.

Today is a culmination of many years of hard work on the part of graduates and their families – and, I might add, also of the faculty. The paths that have led you to this moment in time number as many as the 90 graduates we celebrate today. I want to recognize the parents, the grandparents, the spouses, the partners, the children, significant others, and friends who have supported these graduates along their journey. I would also like to recognize our outstanding faculty here in the School of Education, who have mentored and supported you throughout your tenure of study in the school.

Please stay in touch, and most importantly, congratulations! Stay safe and go Rams!

Warm Regards,

Andrew P. Daire, Ph.D.
Dean
