Researching Whiteness in Schools: The Emotional Labor
Dr. Love is associate professor of educational theory and practice at the University of Georgia and is an award-winning author and researcher in the area of Hip Hop education. She will share some of her ongoing work and experiences. - 11:30-11:45 a.m. Break
- 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Lunch, Gallery Walk and Poster Award Presentation
Lunch will be provided along with a display of collaborative research posters. Attendees are encouraged to view the gallery of posters as well as engage in the judging of posters for the "People's Choice" Award. Prizes will be awarded to the top three posters. - 1:15-1:30 p.m. Awards Presentation
