A study co-authored by Dr. Kevin Sutherland of the VCU School of Education's Department of Counseling and Special Education is featured in the March 6 edition of the Child Care and Early Education Research Connections newsletter.
The study, titled “Reducing child problem behavior and improving teacher-child interaction and relationships: A randomized controlled trial of the BEST in CLASS,” found significant positive effects of the BEST in CLASS intervention across both teacher reported and observed child outcomes.
Child Care and Early Education Research Connections is a federally funded project jointly operated by Columbia University and the University of Michigan.
