Bio

Michael Lay joined the School of Education's communications team in October 2019 after serving as a creative director and senior designer in the magazine and book publishing industries and more than 15 years as owner/designer of M.Lay Design. He has more than 25 years of experience in the communication and design fields as both a designer and writer, including stints at Richmond Navigator Media/Advertising Concepts, Oneboat Publishing, American Social Health Association, Wake County Public Schools, Insider's Guides Publishing and Radford University.
