Sania Marcoccia

Bio

Sania Marcoccia serves as fiscal administrator in the Office of Finance. With over 30 years of experience in finance and 12 years here at VCU, Sania brings with her extensive knowledge of financial processes, procedures, procurement and financial reporting. She comes to us from the Office of the Provost where she served as a senior financial services specialist managing all fiscal transactions, purchase orders, corp card operations and contract administration.

Sania specializes in process development, streamlining processes to find efficiencies, standardization of reporting mechanisms, and is vetted in budget development, account reconciliation and audit. Prior to the Office of the Provost, she worked with the VCU School of Medicine, the VCU Honors College, and served as president of the VCU Staff Senate for three years.
