Cassandra Stanley, Ed.D., assistant director of the Office of Strategic Engagement in the VCU School of Education, is featured in an article in the Summer 2021 issue of Richmond Family Magazine.

"What Antiracism Looks Like," by Melissa Face, covers how to have important conversations about race and culture with children from the perspectives of four Richmonders. The second perspective, titled "Becoming Antiracist is a Decision," features Stanley.

Richmond Family Magazine has been produced by a team of parents for the Richmond region since 2009. It is available at more than 850 area locations, and each issue is read by more than 100,000 families.
