Dr. Alcaine to co-lead series on pre-award grant process

Jose G. Alcaine, Ph.D., director of research services in the Office of Research and Faculty Development, and affiliate faculty in the Department of Foundations of Education at the VCU School of Education, is co-leading a summer lecture series on the pre-award grant process.

The six-part program is sponsored by the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAi) and covers themes such as funding sources, organizational structures and culture, and proposal and budget development. Alcaine is presenting with instructors from around the country to a national audience. Weekly sessions run through early July.
