Dr. Scott to be honored at VCU Convocation on Sep. 2
LaRon A. Scott, Ed.D., associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Special Education in the VCU School of Education, will be honored with the University Award of Excellence at VCU’s 39th annual Opening Faculty Address and Convocation on Sep. 2.
Five additional faculty will be recognized for teaching, scholarship and service achievement at the ceremony, which will begin at 3 p.m. at the Grace Street Theater, 934 West Grace Street. The event, also being livestreamed, will be followed immediately by a reception at the Scott House, 909 West Franklin Street.
