Seeking Robust Problems of Practice for Doctoral Capstone Team

January 24, 2023

Is your organization grappling with issues that impede its work, hinder responses to external challenges, create uncertainty, or reduce effectiveness?

Would you like support from a team focused on using analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and research skills to effect organizational improvement?

The VCU School of Education's Department of Educational Leadership is seeking robust problems of practice from K-12 systems, higher education institutions, and community organizations.

Over the next several weeks, you can submit one or more of the issues you’re facing through our Request for Assistance/Support form (RFA) for consideration for a match with a doctoral capstone team throughout the 2023-2024 academic year.

Our third year Doctor of Education (Ed.D) students complete capstones by addressing real problems of practice submitted by a variety of organizations from the education, nonprofit, and public sectors.

Our EdD students complete work that is mutually agreed-upon by you (partner), a faculty member Capstone Chair, and a graduate student team of 2-5 members.

Deadline for organizations to submit Requests for Assistance/Support is March 15, 2023. Request For Assistance/Support (RFA) form here:
