SOE ranked #16 Best Public Grad Program by U.S. News
The VCU School of Education once again ranks among the top graduate schools of education in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. The school comes in at No. 26 overall in the newly-released 2022 rankings. The school is also No. 16 among public graduate schools of education.
We are excited and proud that the School of Education is the highest U.S. News & World Report ranked college or school at VCU.
With 278 schools of education participating nationwide, only two Virginia schools of education ranked among this year’s top 50, and VCU is the No. 2 education school in Virginia.
“Our ranking in U.S. News & World Report continues to demonstrate the impact of our teaching, research and service to the surrounding communities, as well as the exceptional quality of our faculty, staff and students,” said Andrew Daire, Ph.D., dean and Ruth Harris Professor in the School of Education.
Earlier this year, the School of Education was ranked No. 10 Best Online Graduate Education Program by U.S. News & World Report. The school also ranked No. 15 Best Online Special Education Grad Program.
Now an annual tradition in academia, the U.S. News & World Report rankings have become the definitive list for assessing the nation’s top higher education programs. Each year’s rankings are compiled via a combination of quantitative measures, expert opinion and peer assessment data.
“These rankings are an outstanding achievement and reflect the high quality and diversity of our graduate level offerings,” Daire said.
