Bio

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Cydnie Brown has always had a love of learning and a zest for helping people. A 2020 graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where she studied Business Management, Cydnie spent much of her time volunteering on Randolph- Macon’s campus. Being in love with sports her whole life, Cydnie joined VCU’s Center for Sport Leadership, Class of 2021. Simultaneously, she gained experience in academic advising through the University of Richmond’s Student-Athlete Academic Support office. Soon after graduation, Cydnie transitioned to the University of Maryland in College Park as a Learning Specialist and Athletic Academic Counselor. She could not be more thrilled to enter into this new phase in her career as the Senior Academic Counselor in the School of Education at VCU!
