Bio

Dr. Savanna Love joins Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Education after 10 years at Randolph-Macon College (RMC), where she served as Director of Accreditation, Assessment, and Accountability, Assistant Professor and Field and Clinical Placement Coordinator in the Education Department. Prior to joining the RMC faculty, Dr. Love worked in athletics as the assistant women’s volleyball coach and coordinator for men’s and women’s volleyball. Dr. Love is a graduate of VCU’s School of Education and has taught a variety of teacher preparation and educational psychology courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level at RMC and VCU. Her research interests include teacher preparation program evaluation, online teaching and learning, and the impact of COVID-19 on education. Prior to working in higher education, Dr. Love was as a high school English teacher and volleyball coach in Northern Virginia.
