Teachers for Tomorrow (LEAP) Scholarship

The LEAP program is open to all Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow, or Educators Rising alumni who are applying, and accepted into, one of our (licensure track) for Fall 2023. To apply for one of five, $1,000 competitive, new incoming student scholarships, please see the eligibility criteria below.

This is a recruitment scholarship for incoming/prospective students, as well as Virginia Community College System incoming transfer students

Criteria

  • Current Virginia high school senior (expected graduation June 2023) or Virginia Community College System transfer student
  • High school GPA of at least 2.5
  • Completed Teachers for Tomorrow or equivalent program*
  • Must be accepted, and accept your offer, into a VCU School of Education program

Please complete the following application by April 12, 2023 to be considered for the $1,000 scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 12, 2023 and awards will disburse once students are enrolled in late summer 2023.
