Bio

Lisa Cipolletti teaches literacy courses to pre-service elementary teachers. Her courses include Children’s Literature and Diagnosis and Remediation of Reading Difficulties. In addition, she also facilitates a seminar course for elementary student teachers.

Prior to her role as assistant professor, she taught courses in the Department of Teaching and Learning as an adjunct instructor.

Prior to coming to VCU, she taught elementary school in both New Kent County and Henrico County. She is a licensed reading specialist and brings her classroom experiences to her work with students in the Master of Teaching program.
