Jonathan D. Becker, J.D., Ph.D., an associate professor and online coordinator in the Department of Educational Leadership, was featured on CBS 6 News recently in a story about how videos on YouTube that contain graphic and inappropriate content can be accessed on students' RPS Chromebooks.

Becker said parents and educators need to be thoughtful about the long-term implications of online learning brought on by the pandemic.

“We don’t have a lot of research really on what the effects are. I’m interested in seeing what the academic, psychological and physical effects of learning in this way are for kids,” he said.

Becker is featured in a video and an accompanying news story. Both are available on the CBS 6 News website.
