VCU and SOE commencements to be held Dec. 14

Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU School of Education commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14.

VCU commencement will be held at 10 a.m. in the E.J. Wade Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St. Tickets are not required, and seating for guests is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors to the Siegel Center will open at 9 a.m. Faculty are encouraged to attend.

Parking for VCU commencement will be available at the VCU parking decks located at 1111 W. Broad St. (diagonally across from the Siegel Center) and 609 Bowe St. (one block west of the Siegel Center, at Bowe and Marshall streets). Maps and directions are available on the VCU website.

The School of Education graduation ceremony, where graduates will be recognized individually, will be held at 1 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Ballrooms A and B, 403 N. 3rd St. Tickets for guests are not required. There will be a reception for graduates and their guests immediately following the graduation ceremony in the adjacent lobby.

Parking for the School of Education ceremony is available for a $7 fee at the Convention Center parking deck on 3rd Street. Free parking is available a few blocks away at the VCU 8th Street Parking Deck at 659 N. 8th St.
