Strategic Plan Year 3 (2021-22) Summary

 
The VCU School of Education Strategic Plan includes 15 goals with alignment to the four major themes:

1. Student Success
2. National Prominence
3. Urban Transformation
4. Diversity Driving Excellence

The Strategic Planning and Implementation Committee articulated 46 strategies aimed at scaffolding SOE toward meeting the Strategic Plan goals and 66 outcome measures to support transparent reporting and monitoring toward goal achievement.

Legend for Outcomes Status by Theme

• Approaching - Outcome measure findings indicate we are approaching the target set for the strategy in the three-year strategic plan milestones.
• At rest - Outcome measure findings may indicate ongoing work is underway related to the strategy but no measurable progress has been recorded relative to the target set for the strategy in the three-year strategic plan milestones.
• Met - Outcome measure findings indicate we met the target set for the strategy in the strategic plan milestones. However, work may continue to move beyond the target toward continued improvement.
• Moving Away - Outcome measure findings indicate we are moving away from the target set for the strategy in the three-year strategic plan milestones.
