Dr. Shakeshaft among A&M's 2018 Outstanding Alumni
Dr. Charol Shakeshaft, a professor in the VCU School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership, has been named one of Texas A&M University's College of Education Outstanding Alumni for 2018.
Shakeshaft's research interests include gender and race in educational policy and theory, educator sexual misconduct, and the effectiveness of technology for learning. She was elected an AERA fellow in 2015 and currently teaches graduate courses in research design, policy research methods, and gender and race equity.
Shakeshaft and six other alumni will be recognized for their professional achievements and college-wide impact at an awards ceremony later this month at the university.
