Learn about the Multilingual Ambassador Program
The VCU Multilingual Ambassador Program, one of only five projects selected for REAL Challenge Grant funding as part of the 2021 REAL Grants Initiative, aims to connect multilingual students at VCU with multilingual students in Region 1 K-12 schools in central Virginia.
The Office of Strategic Recruitment and Outreach supports the continued success of prospective student outreach. This includes working with local, regional, national and international partner organizations. Our team is committed to identifying barriers to future students to our School of Education academic programs, and collaborating across units to identify creative and sustainable change to improve the admissions process. Through strategic data analysis, student engagement and partner feedback, our team works to continually improve the admissions experience.

Jenna Lenhardt, Ph.D., leads the Office of Strategic Recruitment and Outreach. She develops strategic recruitment plans for graduate programs and directs partnership engagement and outreach. Jenna grew up near Ithaca, N.Y.

Jada Wright coordinates recruitment events and activities on campus and throughout the Greater Richmond area, conducts information sessions for prospective students, and collaborates with university and community partners.

Angelique James earned a VCU bachelor's degree in mass communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism in 2022. She is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Counselor Education and loves to explore criminal psychology in her free time. Angelique is from Fairfax, Va., and plans to move to New York after graduation!
