VCU School of Education faculty and students recently learned new ways to ensure that their research has an impact on informing state and national policy.

"Turning Your Education Research into Policy," co-sponsored by SOE and The L. Panelists included Northam, a former teacher; Virginia delegates Lamont Bagby and John McGuire; Virginia Deputy Secretary of Education Frances C. Bradford; Dr. Genevieve Siegel-Hawley, associate professor, Department of Educational Leadership; Dr. Shelly Smith, clinical associate professor, Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, VCU School of Nursing; and Dean Andrew Daire of the School of Education.
