The Discourse and Learning Lab is directed by Dr. Christine Bae. In our lab, we conduct research aimed at better understanding how individual differences influence the learning process in classroom contexts. Topics include language and social development in early childhood, and motivation, engagement and learning in science. Please see project tabs on the lab website for more details of ongoing work supported by the Institute of Education Sciences, the National Science Foundation, the American Psychological Association, and the U.S. Department of Education.
