Scholarship FAQs
The School of Education scholarship application opens on March 12, 2024 and closes on April 9, 2024.
Any School of Education student who has at least one semester of completed coursework as a VCU School of Education student.
With the exception of scholarships open to prospective and incoming students only.
The application is located in the RAMS Scholarship HUB.
- Once you login with your eID and password, you will complete the General Application.
- Once the General Application is completed, you will need to complete the School of Education Conditional Application.
- Once the School of Education Conditional Application is submitted, you will automatically be considered for those scholarships that you qualify for.
*Please note that there are some scholarship opportunities that require additional questions to be answered, and you have to apply for them directly.

Notifications of awards will be sent out from scholarships@vcu.edu by June 1.
Scholarship recipients are awarded funds for the Fall semester following the application and selection process which begins early in the year. Funds are processed in mid-July by University Financial Aid, who then posts the scholarships directly to the VCU Student Account by the end of August.
